Anthony is responsible for sourcing potential acquisitions for clients, developing relationships with vendors and farm managers on behalf of clients, and liaising with real estate agents. Anthony’s exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills are essential in delivering fair results for all parties in purchase agreements. Anthony specialises in valuing commercial and rural property and holds real estate licences in all Eastern Australian States; New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
Anthony has extensive direct experience of over 20 years in agriculture that has encompassed both livestock and cropping systems. This experience underpins the understanding of a successful rural investment.
His professional experience includes managing one of largest Landmark branches in Australia where he was responsible for leading the branch to double digit growth for three successive years. Anthony has also managed a major John Deere machinery dealership where his leadership resulted in the dealership being in the top 5% of John Deere dealerships in Australia.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business in Property majoring in Property Valuation from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
Deanne has over 13 years experience working in rural legal and finance sectors in regional NSW and QLD. Deanne carries out due diligence on all potential acquisitions, ensuring the successful completion of all rural property transactions as well as the development and finalisation of lease documents. Deanne is also responsible for liaising with legal and real estate professionals to coordinate property acquisitions and disposals.
Deanne’s comprehensive understanding of the Australian legal process is an asset to CFM as she is able to quickly identify and overcome potential hurdles regardless of the nature of the transaction. Her exceptional organisational and problem solving skills ensure that stakeholder requirements are met whilst client results are delivered beyond expectations.
Deanne is a New South Wales Justice of the Peace and a Queensland Commissioner for Declarations.
Marguerite has over 17 years experience as a Chartered Accountant in the agricultural regions of Tamworth and Moree in North West NSW. She manages the accounting division of CFM which includes oversight of: payroll, tax, compliance and financial reporting functions with proficiency and exceptional attention to detail.
Marguerite commenced her professional accounting career at KPMG Peat Marwick in Tamworth before moving to Moree 19 years ago. Marguerite was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1993, and worked for Boyce Chartered Accountants at the Moree branch for 14 years. While at Boyce, where she was a manager, Marguerite had a focus on both management and compliance based accounting for large-scale farming operations.
Marguerite and her husband have a direct exposure to agriculture through their own significant dryland farming operations and cattle production.
Marguerite holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England (UNE) in Armidale.
Emma has over 7 years experience in retail, banking and business administration and grew up on a Limousin and Merino Stud in New England NSW.
Emma assists the accounts manager with accounts, payroll, monthly and annual reports, data input and compliance activities. Emma has excellent organisational skills including the ability to meet regular deadlines and take follow up action. This experience, her attention to detail and diligence provides a stable platform to a highly professional accounting division.
Key accounting and administrative roles have been filled by Emma in a variety of agricultural based businesses including Cotton Grower Services, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Coles Myer Group and Picone Pastoral Company.
Emma holds a Business Administration Certificate III from the Australian Technical and Further Education (TAFE) system, NSW.
Vanessa Parkes
Vanessa is responsible for the operation of Paddock Action Manager (PAM) computer software. Vanessa utilises PAM as a crop analysis and reporting tool that calculates budgets, yield and water use efficiencies and monitors weed and pest control. Vanessa has extensive experience in broadacre cropping and directed the operations for Parkes Agricultural Consultancy which managed Keytah, one of Australia's largest privately owned cotton production properties located West of Moree.
