Andrew Parkes      

Director Andrew Parkes is recognised in Australian agriculture as an industry leader in the production of irrigated cotton and various other crops and has managed large scale irrigation, dry land farming and cattle operations

Andrew directs all operations and sources potential acquisitions in conjunction with CFM asset managers. Andrew’s leadership provides outstanding managerial and interpersonal skills, motivating all members of staff to produce exceptional results.

Andrew has been involved in agriculture for over 25 years and is recognised in Australian agriculture as an industry leader in the production of irrigated cotton and various other crops. Andrew has also operated his own company, Parkes Agricultural Consultancy, and has managed large scale irrigation, dry land farming and cattle operations.

Andrew has led on-farm initiatives that have delivered significant benefits to production, cost control and natural resources. Andrew has also project managed 5,000 hectares of irrigation development, incorporating both surface and overhead irrigation technologies.



Andrew is a Director of Cotton Australia, a member of the Gwydir Valley Irrigators Association and the Gwydir Valley Cotton Growers Association and is Chairman of the Transgenic and Insecticide management Strategy (TIMS) Committee. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture from Hawkesbury Agricultural College.

 

Andrew Ordish

Director Andrew Ordish is recognised for his ability to adapt farming systems to the vagaries associated with agricultural production across a range of climatic and geographical conditions

Andrew has been professionally involved with various agricultural pursuits for 24 years. Andrew oversees all customised farming operations for CFM, managing all day-to-day operational requirements. His agronomic expertise and innovation help to ensure the efficient operation of production, management of staff and cost control.

Andrew has consulted to individual and corporate entities on a number of farming redevelopment projects in Botswana, Mozambique, Papua New Guinea and one redevelopment project in Sudan totalling an area of 200,000 hectares.

Through this work Andrew is recognised for his ability to adapt farming systems to the vagaries associated with agricultural production across a range of climatic and geographical conditions.


Andrew’s association with corporate agriculture has allowed him to develop an innate understanding of corporate governance issues and requirements.

He is recognised as a leader in the Australian agricultural sector in the following areas:

Andrew has a Diploma in Agriculture Science from the Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
